Services and booking

We provide pool-table moving, disassembly, assembly, installation, leveling, refelting, cushion replacement, repairs and other agreed billiard services. Each job covers the work agreed with you.

An inquiry or viewing request does not by itself confirm an appointment or reserve a table. We confirm the scope, price and scheduling arrangements with you. Tell us about relevant table conditions, stairs, narrow access and other circumstances that affect the work so we can plan the job and quote accurately. Changes to the agreed work or price should be agreed with you before the additional work proceeds.

Published cloth-material prices are not complete refelting-service quotes. Review the page's price description and request a quote for the full work you want performed.

Payment and deposits

We accept Zelle, Venmo and cash. Deposit amounts are determined per job and communicated with the job arrangements. Any remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of the agreed service.

Cancellation and deposit refunds

If you cancel a scheduled job, we refund your deposit. We process the deposit refund within 48 hours after receiving your cancellation. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to make the funds available.

Contact us using the details above to cancel or discuss scheduling. This policy does not reduce any cancellation or refund rights provided by applicable law.

Used pool tables and installation

Review the individual listing and agreed sale details for the table's specifications, condition and disclosures. Our used-table sale packages include professional delivery, assembly and precision leveling within 90 driving miles of Iowa City. A distance-based delivery surcharge applies beyond that distance and is addressed in your quote.

A separate viewing before installation is optional. You may arrange installation, inspect the pieces before assembly begins and cancel setup if you are dissatisfied with what you see. Deposit refunds follow the cancellation policy above.

After a table has been installed, we do not offer voluntary refunds. Covered workmanship problems are handled under the warranty below. This policy does not limit refunds or other remedies required by applicable law, or the remedies available if the limited workmanship remedy fails as described below.

Two year limited workmanship warranty

Coverage and start date

We warrant the workmanship of all services we perform for two years from the actual date the covered work is completed. Coverage is limited to the work we actually undertake for your particular job.

We will correct covered defects caused by improper performance of our work. Depending on the services performed, examples include faulty slate-joint preparation, improper leveling or defects in cloth installation.

This warranty does not provide a general warranty on the entire table, existing components or unrelated work performed by others. For example, refelting covers our cloth-installation workmanship; it does not automatically warrant the condition of existing cushion rubber. This limited workmanship warranty does not reduce rights that applicable law provides for goods sold to you.

Correction as the limited remedy

Your sole and exclusive contractual remedy under this workmanship warranty is correction of the covered defective work by Brookwell through repair or re-performance, as appropriate, at no additional charge. Give us a reasonable opportunity to inspect and correct the covered defect.

If this limited remedy fails its essential purpose, including because Brookwell refuses to provide correction or cannot resolve the covered defect within a reasonable time after that opportunity, other remedies available under applicable law remain available. This provision does not require unlimited unsuccessful repair attempts or guarantee an automatic full refund.

This limitation concerns covered workmanship defects. It does not replace the separate accidental-property-damage provision below or limit rights or remedies that applicable law does not permit us to limit.

Cause based exclusions

Problems are outside this workmanship coverage to the extent they are caused by normal wear, misuse, environmental changes, unrelated pre-existing defects, later movement or work by others. A defect inherent in customer-supplied materials is different from faulty installation. These exclusions do not excuse defective workmanship or damage Brookwell causes while performing the work.

Requesting correction

Contact Contact@brookwellbilliards.com or +1 (833) 400-1135 if you believe there is a problem with our work. Describe the work, its completion date and the issue as far as you know them. Photos or videos can help us assess the problem and arrange corrective work.

Accidental property damage during service

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Brookwell's total liability for accidental physical property damage it causes while performing a single job is limited to $2,000 across all affected property combined.

This cap applies specifically to accidental physical property damage. It does not cap our workmanship-correction promise or impose a ceiling on court, mediation or arbitration fees and expenses. Nothing in these terms limits a right or remedy that applicable law does not permit us to limit.

Job records and evidence

To the extent permitted by applicable law and the governing dispute-resolution rules, Brookwell's photographs, videos, measurements and written service notes, when shown to be authentic and made at or near the time of the work, are rebuttably presumed accurate as to the conditions or events they actually document.

You may challenge their accuracy, completeness or context with any credible evidence, including your account of events, communications, photographs, records or witness statements. Brookwell's records are not conclusive, do not establish fault by themselves and do not change any burden of proof required by applicable law. The court or other authorized decision-maker retains authority to determine authenticity, reliability, admissibility and evidentiary weight.

Resolving concerns and disputes

If you have a concern, contact us using the details above so we can work to resolve it. Covered workmanship issues are subject to the limited remedy and its exceptions described in the warranty.

Either party may bring an unresolved dispute in a court with jurisdiction, including small-claims court when the claim qualifies. Applicable jurisdiction and venue rules govern. After a dispute arises, you and Brookwell may instead agree in writing to mediation or arbitration, including its procedure and cost allocation. These terms do not require either party to agree to that alternative process.

Nothing in this section prevents timely court action where necessary to preserve a claim or seek relief available under applicable law.

Text messages and marketing communications

When you opt in to Brookwell Billiards text messages, you may receive messages about quotes, scheduling and job updates. If you separately opt in to promotional texts, you may also receive offers and new-table alerts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to promotional texts is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. You can also contact Contact@brookwellbilliards.com or +1 (833) 400-1135 for assistance.

Marketing emails are optional. Use the unsubscribe method in a marketing email or contact us to update your preferences. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle customer and messaging information.

Calls and privacy

Customer calls are recorded, transcribed and analyzed using AI to improve our systems and processes. Callers hear a recording notice at the start of the call. We retain these call records indefinitely, subject to applicable legal requirements. Our Privacy Policy describes these practices, public use of job photos and website tools.

Changes and applicable rights

We may update these terms and will identify the revision date above. Updating the website does not by itself change an earlier job agreement. The version provided as part of your agreement applies unless we agree with you to a change or applicable law requires otherwise.

Nothing in these terms waives a right or remedy that applicable law does not allow to be waived.
